ROCKLAND — The Rockland VFW in conjunction with the Rockland Police and Knox County Sheriff’s Department will sponsor a Child Identification Program from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Recreation Center, corner of Union and Limerock streets.

Fingerprints and photos will be taken of every child in attendance. The fingerprint record will be turned over to the parents for their permanent files. The program is free.

A television-VCR will play cartoons for children’s entertainment.
