MADAWASKA — The American Legion Auxiliary at Madawaska installed officers Monday.

Installation Officer Grace Martin installed President Anna Mae Gagnon; First Vice President Raymonde Corriveau, who was also named Bingo and community calendar chairman; Second Vice President Anita LaJoie, who is also membership chairman; Secretary Carol Deschaines; Historian Cecile Pozzuto; Treasurer Marilyn Bard; Sergeant-at-Arms Bernice Dionne; and Chaplain Norma Dufour.

The organization agreed to make donations to the Wisdom House Christmas Stocking Fund, the Chapel of Four Chaplains and the Madawaska Middle-High School Band.

Guest speaker for the meeting was Paul LeBlanc, Fort Kent area center director for the Interactive Television program.

The unit’s next meeting is planned for Monday, Oct. 1.
