Eastport police arrested Robert Stackhouse, 37, of Eastport Sunday afternoon on a charge of criminal threatening. Police arrived at Stackhouse’s residence on Orange Street about noon after receiving a call from his wife who said she had to leave the house because of his threatening behavior. Stackhouse was found to be intoxicated. He was taken to Washington County Jail and is scheduled to appear in 4th District Court in Calais Oct. 30.
Eastport police charged Susan Wentworth, 36, of Pembroke with operating while under the influence of intoxicating liquor at about 11:30 p.m., Saturday, after she was seen driving erratically on County Road. She also was issued a court summons for failure to provide proof of insurance. A passenger in Wenthworth’s car, Brad Rose, 34, of Pembroke was charged with possession of a usable amount of marijuana. Both are scheduled to appear in 4th District Court Oct.23.
A 17-year-old Eastport youth was arrested Saturday night for violating terms of probation after he was seen downtown in an intoxicated condition by a police officer. The youth was released in the custody of his parents, pending further investigation by juvenile authorities.
