FORT FAIRFIELD — Nomination papers for one three-year seat on the Town Council and two three-year seats on the SAD 20 board of directors were submitted to the town office by the Oct. 2 deadline.

According to town clerk Susan LeVasseur, J. Michael Edmunds, incumbent for one Town Council seat, will run unopposed. Seeking re-election to the SAD 20 board of directors will be J. Chipman Beckwith. Board member Daniel Foster will not seek re-election. Opposing Beckwith will be Carole Meath and David Rollins, said LeVasseur.
