LUBEC — The Rev. James Mello will present four workshops on alcohol and chemical dependence and addiction, sponsored by the Community Awareness Network of the Regional Medical Center at Lubec.

The workshops will be at 6:30 p.m., Oct. 19 and 26, and Nov. 2 and 9, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lubec.

The topics covered will be the progressive stages of addiction, steps to recovery, impact upon the family, characteristics of adult children of alcoholics, and codependency. Call Marilyn Hughes at 733-5541 for more information.
