Bangor Middle School wins

HAMPDEN – Chad Bazinet’s extra-point kick was the difference as the Bangor 7th and 8th graders defeated Hampden 7th and 8th graders 7-6 in football here Tuesday. Mark McEwen passed 25 yards to Josh Jameson for Bangor’s TD as the visitors handed Hampden its first loss after four wins. Bangor is 4-1 as well. Mike Tardif passed 10 yards to Lance Bagley for the Hampden score, but the PAT was missed as was a last-second field goal attempt.
