WATERVILLE — Kennebec Valley Regional Health Agency’s HomeCare Division recently hired Cynthia Shoaf, medical social worker, and Jean Kelly and Arlette Wilkes, RNs.
As a medical social worker, Shoaf helps home health patients and their families find appropriate helping resources in the community, and provides family and individual counseling. She comes to KVRHA after working as an outpatient therapist for Kennebec Valley Medical Center, Augusta, and as director of social services for Nix Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas. Shoaf received a master’s degree in social work from Our Lady of the Lake University, also, in San Antonio. Shoaf resides in Waterville.
Kelley, a resident of Pittsfield, is a graduate of the University of Maine in Augusta, with an associate’s degree in nursing. As a registered nurse, she will provide quality nursing care to clients in their homes in the Pittsfield area. Her background includes work as a medical-surgical nurse for Redington-Fairview Hospital in Skowhegan, and as assistant to the president for Kelley Engineering in Pittsfield.
Wilkes, who will also provide quality nursing care to clients in their homes in the Pittsfield area, is a graduate of the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She served 20 years in the U.S. Navy Nursing Corps. A resident of Hartland, Wilkes has also worked as a staff nurse for Redington-Fairview Hospital.
