WATERVILLE – Martha Hopkins earned her ninth shutout of the season as the Thomas College Terriers advanced to the NAIA District 5 women’s soccer final with a 2-0 victory over the University of Maine-Farmington Thursday.

Hopkins stopped 7 of 15 shots.

Cassie Graves scored an unassisted goal with 20:20 remaining in the first half and Krista Thompson scored from Sherri Sawyer with 16:20 left in the second half for the 10-5-1 Terriers.

Thomas gains the District 5 East Division title with the win and will play the winner of a Green Mountain College-Johnson State College game, played Thursday, for the district championship Sunday.
