The Maine Bureau of Liquor Enforcement will hold a daylong training session on the latest state rules and regulations for sellers of alcohol beginning at 1 and 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Eastern Maine Technical College, 354 Hogan Road.

The class is designed to give owners, managers and employees of businesses that sell alcohol information on laws and tips on ways to avoid selling to minors, the most common violation in Maine.

A session for employees in retail sales in grocery, liquor and convenience stores will start at 1 p.m. At 6 p.m., employees of restaurants, bars and lounges will have a special class.
