ELLSWORTH — The Down East Family YMCA will sponsor a non-alcohol Christmas Dance from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the new Y. Music from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s will be provided by the Hugh Bowden Band. Tickets are available from any Y board member or at the Y and must be purchased by Dec. 12. Proceeds will go toward scholarships for children in need. Tickets are $10 per person or $20 per couple. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
