EASTPORT — An Eastport man is being held in Washington County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond for allegedly threatening to kill a woman early Sunday.

Earl Marsh, 51, was arrested by Eastport police at about 1:30 a.m. after police received a call from a woman living on Hawkes Avenue who said Marsh had threatened to kill her. The woman was not injured and no weapons were found at the scene. Marsh will be arraigned in 4th District Court in Machias Tuesday.

Also on Sunday, Eastport police charged Desmond Bowling, 28, of Dow, Ill., and John Ferrill, 34, of Las Cruces, N.M., with operating after suspension.

Bowling was arrested and taken to Washington County Jail, and Ferrill was issued a court summons.
