Thomas downs UM-Augusta

WATERVILLE – Steve Freeman scored 17 of his game-high 25 points in the second half as Thomas College pulled away from the University of Maine-Augusta 86-57 here Monday night.

Thomas (2-2) held a four-point halftime lead, but outscored UMA 53-28 in the second half.

Victor Padolko had 18 points for the winners and Sean Sealy contributed 10 rebounds.

Dana Brann had 19 points for 2-3 UMA, Mark DeLaMare had 12 points, and Ernie Martin tossed in 11.
