LINCOLN — The Region 3 Adult Education Program has received a grant to help pay for tuition and child care for displaced homemakers and single parents.

Funding is available to adults who are interested in entering the job market and who would like to obtain entry-level skills for employment, or for people who are unemployed and would like to retrain for new employment.

To qualify as a displaced homemaker, certain qualifications must be met. Funding is available to adults who live in the area served by Northern Penobscot Region 3 Vocational system.
