MILO – Jason Boucher sank both ends of a one-and-one foul shot opportunity with 31 seconds left to lift the Penquis Patriots to a 67-66 schoolboy basketball upset over the Mattanawcook Academy Lynx here Friday night.

Boucher’s FTs gave Penquis a 67-64 edge. Darrin Whitney scored for MA with three seconds left to cut it to one before time ran out.

Jason Mills paced the 3-3 winners with 26 points. He hit three of his four 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to help bring the Pats back. Troy Chase chipped in with 14 points, Abe Chase added 12, and Boucher netted 10.

Whitney paced 4-1 MA of Lincoln with 26 points. Travis Gerry added 20 points and Aaron Wood netted 14.
