The Maine State Chapter, March of Dimes will hold a 4-kilometer run on Sunday, Dec. 30, starting at the Bangor Mall, said Chris Olsen, community director for the March of Dimes.

Olsen said the race, the Resolution Run, will be held in any weather and is designed for all ages and abilities. The sponsor is Colonial Distributors-Coors Light.

The run will begin at the main mall entrance, loop around the mall, down Stillwater Avenue to Hogan Road, then turn right onto Bangor Mall Boulevard and return to the starting point.

T-shirts will be given to the first 50 runners to register, and the minimum entry fee is $10 in advance or $15 the day of the race.

Prizes will be awarded, including a grand prize for the runner who raises the most in donations. Proceeds will benefit the March of Dimes and help in birth-defect prevention.
