A story that appeared in Thursday’s paper reported that a man arrested for burglary by Bangor police on Christmas night lived at 16 Shadow Lane in Brewer. The woman who lives at that address claims that Scott Shepard, 27, does not live there. It is unclear where Shepard was living when he was arrested.

A story Thursday about the Bangor City Council defeating a proposal to place parking meters back on downtown streets left out the name of one of the five councilors opposing the change. Newly elected councilor Marshall Frankel voted against it.
