MADISON — A 72-year-old Anson man died Sunday when he apparently suffered a heart attack behind the wheel of his car and crashed off Route 43, authorities said.
Harold Webber was the only occupant of the car that skidded off the road and struck some trees at 12:06 p.m. in the central Maine town, said Cpl. Lewis Gordon of the Madison police department.
Webber was pronounced dead at the scene, Gordon said. An investigation was continuing.
