The Maine State Police and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection were called to a small chlorine leak at the James River paper mill in Old Town Sunday afternoon. A spokesman said that the spill occurred in a rail car on the tracks leading to the building, and that it was cleaned up within half an hour. No one was injured and no evacuations of nearby homes were necessary, he said.

Bangor police arrested an Indian Island woman after an incident at a Bangor nightclub. Rose Francis, 25, was arrested and charged with assault, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Bruce Gothrow, 18, Orono, and Scott Nason, 20, Bangor, were arrested and charged with burglary to an automobile after allegedly stealing a stereo system from a van parked on First Street in Bangor.

Daniel Ringuette, 37, Bangor, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass.

James Sirois, 40, of 96 Kenduskeag Ave., Bangor, was arrested by Bangor police and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

Bangor police arrested Dennis Sullivan, 42, No. 32, 818 Ohio St., Bangor, and charged him with assault.

Anthony Wardwell, 27, of 64 Center St., Bangor, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass.

Dana Morrill, 18, No. 1, 159 State St., Bangor, was summoned Sunday on separate occassions and charged with theft and telephone harassment.

Mark Campbell, 19, of 380 Elm St., Brewer, was summoned and charged with criminal mischief.

Bangor police summoned Christopher D. Kerns, of 60 Chart Road, Cuyahoga, Ohio, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle without a license.
