Beginning Jan. 8, 1991 the Bangor-Brewer YWCA will offer a 10-week American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Participants must possess strong swimming skills and be at least 15 years old. It is recommended that participants also have current standard first aid and adult CPR certification.

The 10-week course costs $85. Participants do not need to be YWCA members. Contact the YWCA at 941-2808 for additional information.
