ROCKLAND — The crisis in the Persian Gulf has caused Congress to cancel its January recess which has caused U.S. Rep. Tom Andrews to cancel his plans for the Knox County Democrat’s victory party.
Jean B. Chalmers, secretary of the Knox County Democrats, announced that the meeting scheduled for Jan. 8 would be postponed until Feb. 12 and that the Executive Committee would make alternative plans for the victory party. The February meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m., at Stella Maris. For further information, call Jean Chalmers.
