Brewer Mites top Orono Red

ORONO – David Lisnik scored two goals and assisted on two others to lead the Brewer Mites to a 5-3 win over Orono Red in youth hockey action Saturday at Alfond Arena. Brian Ellis, Tyson Schroeder, and Ben Crowell also scored goals for Brewer. For Orono, Reid Wegner, Christian Monberg, and Stuart Cady scored the goals.

Bangor Red mites win

Ryan Shumaker collected four goals to lead the Bangor Red mites to an 8-2 youth hockey victory over the Hampden-Winterport Purple at Sawyer Arena in Bangor on Saturday. Brent Hawkes tallied two goals, Justin Rice and Jeremy Karam one each for the winners. Kyle Crossman had two goals for the visitors.

Orono White drops Bangor White

Ben Charron scored 4 goals to lead Orono White to a 7-2 youth hockey victory over Bangor White at Sawyer Arena in Bangor Sunday. For 10-0-1 Orono, Mark Tie scored 2 goals and Chris Todd added 1. For 4-5 Bangor, Mike Dube had 2 goals.
