THOMASTON — The Children’s Room of the Thomaston Public Library has announced plans for the winter season.

Children in preschool and grades one, two and three are invited to the library for an After School Special. This program will be offered to all children in those grades in Knox County. It will start Thursday, Jan. 10, and will run for five consecutive Thursdays, starting at 3 p.m. and ending at 3:45 p.m. The purpose of the program is to maintain continued use of the library facility and to reinforce the reading skills as well as to introduce the children to new books and authors.

For further information, contact Jane Holmsen, children’s librarian.
