UNB pulls away from UMPI Owls

FREDERICTON, New Brunswick – Bobby O’Brien and Craig Isley each scored 23 points to lead the host University of New Brunswick to a 111-96 men’s basketball victory over the University of Maine at Presque Isle here Tuesday night.

For 2-8 New Brunswick, Glenn Reed scored 21 points, Alex Kidney had 19 and Yaw Obing added 12.

John Gosselin scored 27 points to lead the 7-5 Owls. Terry Cummings scored 24 points.
