In defense of Tom Hennessey’s Dec. 24 column, “Chances are you belong to my church,” thank you, Tom. For no matter what religion you belong to, we all belong.

Henry David Thoreau, in his trip to Maine in 1846, said something like “Heaven is not only up, look around and down under your feet, also.”
