CAMDEN — Camden Adult Education, assisted by a federal grant, will offer a series of free “life skills” seminars from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays to aid individuals in fulfilling their employment or schooling needs. The seminars will be held at Camden-Rockport High School.

The first seminar will be a discussion of Adult Life Stages on Feb. 5. After that will be Values Clarification on Feb. 12; Achieving Balance, Feb. 26; Assessing Interest, March 5; Assessing Skills, March 12; Occupational Planning, March 19; Personal Finance, March 26; Confidence Building, April 2; Networking, April 9; Goal Setting, April 23; Decision Making, April 30; Job Hunting, May 7; Resume Writing, May 14; Job Interviews, May 21; Job Keeping, May 28; Assertiveness Training, June 4; and Breaking Life-Career Barriers, June 11.

Any person seeking job skills training, desiring employment counseling, contemplating a career change, and-or wanting more general information may attend any or all of these seminars. The discussion groups are provided at no charge to participants. In addition, any person who desires individual sessions on any of the above topics or any other career counseling may schedule a counseling session through the adult education office by calling the Adult Education Department at CRHS. These individual sessions will be available between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, first come, first served.
