DOVER-FOXCROFT — The James W. Sewall Co. of Old Town and the Penobscot Chapter of the Small Woodland Owners Association of Maine will sponsor a tour and meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Sewall’s headquarters, 147 Center St., Old Town.
Dave Edson, forester and vice president of forestry and natural resources at Sewall, will guide a tour of the company’s offices, and will demonstrate mapping, aerial photography and inventory systems. Questions such as how maps can be used in management plans will be answered.
Participants should park in back of the building and meet at the employee entrance door. For more information, call Bob Fenderson at 945-6306.
