Southern Maine wins over Suffolk

BOSTON – Ruben McGee scored 17 points to lead the University of Southern Maine men’s basketball team to a 95-64 victory over Suffolk University Tuesday.

Tim Bonsant added 15 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals for the 13-4 Huskies. David Labbe scored 14 points and Doug Harmon had 12 for Southern Maine. Rob Laprise and Scott Trefethen chipped in with 11 and 10 points respectively.

For Suffolk, now 6-10, John Crawley scored 14 points, Chuck Byrne added 11 and Dave MacDougall scored 10.
