LEWISTON — Amy Robbins of Belfast, formerly of Union, is taking part in the Bates College junior semester abroad program.

Robbins is a women’s studies major and will study in Madrid, Spain, under the Marquette University Program.

Students at Bates have the option of taking either a semester or full year in a foreign country during their junior year.

She is the daughter of Jenness and Louine Robbins of Belfast and is a graduate of Belfast Area High School.
