Scout Week plans being made at Milo

MILO — Kathie Lee, Cub Scoutmaster for the Brownville-Milo Cub Scout Pack, has announced activities for the annual Scout Week to be held Feb. 3-10.

Lee said Sunday, Feb. 3, had been designated Scout Sunday; Monday, Feb. 4, is Uniform Day in School, with a special opening planned for 9 a.m. at Milo Elementary School; Sunday, Feb. 10, the Rev. Ronald Chaffee of the Park Street United Methodist Church has invited Cub Scouts and their families to attend the 11 a.m. service. Scouts interested in participating in the service should contact Lee at 943-2668.

David Walker, SAD 41 elementary supervisor, plans to visit schools in Atkinson, Brownville, LaGrange and Milo during Scout Week, where he will have lunch with the Scouts.

Lee said the annual Cub Scout Window Display during Scout Week will be at the office of Neil Hamlin, lawyer, in Milo. All den leaders are reminded to take items for the display to Lee’s house no later than Thursday, Jan. 31. She asked that all items be well labeled with den numbers and Scout names.
