FARMINGTON – Chris Bessey scored 25 points to lead the University of Maine-Farmington to a 116-73 men’s basketball victory over the University of New England here Saturday night.
Bessey’s 25 led six UMF players in double figures as the Beavers improved to 8-8 on the season. John Mayo posted 14 points while Dale Storey chipped in with 13. Rob Horne and Rich Bell added 11 more and Wes Daggett contributed 10.
For UNE of Biddeford, Sean O’Shea scored 16 points.
