RUTLAND, Vt. – Steve Chase netted 26 points – 15 of which came from beyond the 3-point stripe – to lead St. Joseph’s College of Standish to a 101-83 victory over host College of St. Joseph’s here Sunday.
Ronnie Lamming and Marcus Smith added 16 points each for the 20-7 winners. John Maloney and Greg Collymore had 14 and 12 points, respectively, for the Monks. Maloney and Collymore had 12 rebounds each.
For the Saints, 21-7, Dennis Shelton and Mark Williams netted 25 and 23 points, respectively, and Ray Boyd tallied 19.
