WATERVILLE – Barry Clukey had 4 goals and 2 assists to lead the Waterville Panthers to an 8-2 high school ice hockey victory over Bangor here at Alfond Arena Monday.

For Waterville, Herb Brock scored 2 goals. Jerry Hart and Todd Dennis each scored a goal. Brian Charrier made 3 assists to set a national high school single-season assist record (53 assists). In goal, Brian Rancourt had 18 saves on 20 shots.

For 9-8 Bangor, Buddy Syphers and Chris Shepley each scored a goal. Micah Robbins had 29 saves on 37 shots.
