BIDDEFORD – Lisa Nejezchelba scored 26 points as the University of New England women’s basketball team defeated the University of Maine-Presque Isle 85-52 Friday.

Laurie Marcucci added 15 points and Darcie Trudeau had 14 for the 17-9 Scarlet Knights.

Leslie Cumming led the 5-15 Owls with 17 points and Debbie Draper posted 15 points and 15 rebounds. Beth Corrow chipped in with 10 points.
