PRESQUE ISLE — Aroostook Mental Health Center will offer the outpatient substance-abuse treatment program “Quitting Time” beginning Monday, March 25, in Presque Isle.

Held at The Aroostook Medical Center from 6 to 9 p.m. every Monday through Thursday, Quitting Time is a four-week intensive evening treatment series offered around the county throughout the year.

The program is designed for those who are chemically dependent but who would like to maintain their daily routine or remain on the job. Quitting Time participants have more therapeutic sessions over a shorter period of time than what is offered through traditional alcohol treatment programs, according to program officials.
