CALAIS — April is National Child Abuse Month, and the Maine Chapter of the Child Abuse and Neglect Council urges residents to take a public stand against child abuse.

During April, the council encourages Maine residents to wear a blue ribbon to show their commitment to the fight against child abuse and neglect.
