ROCKLAND — The Knox County Community Concert Association on Friday announced its selection of community concerts for the 1991-92 season. They are: Vienna Strauss Ensemble, appearing Oct. 4; Paratore Brothers, piano, March 2, 1992; and Guy Lombardo’s Royal Canadians, May 2, 1992.

Concert workers are contacting present ticket holders to renew memberships and offering new memberships to businesses and sponsors.

The annual campaign will be conducted at Senter-Crane’s Department Store from Monday, April 15, through Friday, April 19. A table will be available at the door where anyone wanting to attend the concerts may purchase a membership that will be good for all three concerts, as well as concerts in Rumford and Biddeford. An added bonus this year will allow those purchasing memberships to attend the last concert of the current season which will be presented May 2. The concert features organist Hector Olivers.

Subscription rates remained the same at $18 for adults, $6 for students, $42 for a family.

The association announced it also would welcome categories including a listing in the season’s program. Rates are: sponsor, $150; benefactor, $100; patron, $50; and a new listing this year, the Golden Circle, $300. All concerts are held at Rockland District High School.

Additional information on the concert series is available from chairman Joyce Shelso in the evening, or secretary Marian Ginn. Volunteers also were being sought to assist with securing memberships.

The association is a non-profit organization of volunteers working to present a concert series of classical, ethnic, folk and popular music and dance.
