Bangor police arrested Michael Fagan on Wednesday night and charged him with assault after he allegedly slapped his girlfriend on the leg. Fagan said he was trying to leave the apartment and his girlfriend would not let him. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on May 14.

Arnold Moody, 22, of Maple St., Bangor, was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor and operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on May 13.

Brian Nile, 19, of Bangor, was summoned by Bangor police and charged with theft after he allegedly stole two cans of beer from a 7-Eleven store on Broadway. He was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on May 13.

Richard R. Brotz, 25, of 253 Center St., Bangor, was summoned by Bangor police and charged with operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended and illegal attachment of registration plates. He was scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court on May 14.
