JONESPORT — Visit Your Relatives at Resthaven Day will be observed on Wednesday, May 8, at Resthaven Nursing Home, according to activities director Paula Lord.

A 1:30 p.m. white elephant auction will be held to benefit the activity fund. Friends and relatives of RNH residents are urged to attend the auction and bid for auction items. Donations may be made to the auction by calling Lord at 497-2363. The donations may include furniture, small appliances, arts and crafts, and other household items other than clothing.

Lord said the visitation activity will be the first of a series of monthly activities intended to bring together relatives and friends of the home’s residents. The last of six such scheduled activities will be held in October.
