WATERVILLE — The Mid-Maine Retired Senior Volunteer Program recently held its annual recognition ceremony to celebrate the contribution of more than 103,000 hours of volunteer service to communities from Jackman to Brunswick.

More than 350 volunteers and friends attended the event, which was held at John Martin’s Manor.

The following people received recognition for 10 years of service: Gersha Aronson, Catherine S. Morin, Irving Levensailor, Louise Benson, Marie Bizier, Lucille Letourneau, Florence Milton, Eva Arris, Edmay Boudreau, Harriet Campbell, Frances Mealey, Evelyn Currier and Ruth Reed.

In addition, 21 RSVP volunteers received awards for five years of service and 80 RSVP volunteers received awards for one year of service. Persons interested in more information about RSVP may call the main office at 873-1127.
