Members of the under age 14 Maine Olympic Development Soccer Team were recently chosen.

Those named were: Todd Atkins, Ryan Janicki, Aaron Kitchen, Dan Martin, Ben Pierce, Hampden; Tim Wright, Winterport; Nathaniel Adams, Augusta; Brett Stuber, Hermon; Alexander Groves, Portland; Tom Frost Jr., Jeffrey Haywood, Timothy Lovett, Jonathan Queally, Matt Robinson, Nicolas Sze, South Portland; Seth Wiermer, South Berwick; and Peter Bielan and Malcolm Chase, Kittery.

The team is coached by Mitch Ellison of Etna. Ellison is the Hermon High boys’ soccer coach.

The team competes against other Olympic Development teams in New England.
