Four-time Unity Raceway track champion Dave St. Clair and track owner Ralph Nason headline a field of approximately 40 drivers who will be looking to make the starting grid for the American Canadian Tour’s Motor Supply 100 on Saturday at Unity Raceway.
The fifth running of the race will be held beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the one-third-mile oval.
ACT regulars Robbie Crouch, Kevin Lepage, and Jeff Stevens will be on hand along legendary racers Junior Hanley and Jean-Paul Cabana, the defending race champ.
Unity regular also scheduled to compete include St. Clair, Steve Nelson, Gary Smith, Marty Leblanc, Bobby Leach, and Butch Burgess, who is being brought out of retirement to compete.
The Motor Supply 100 is just one race on a busy schedule over the weekend.
At Speedway 95 in Hermon, a doubleheader weekend is on tap. On Saturday, Twin 25s for the sportsman class will be held (at 7 p.m.) and on Sunday (at 2 p.m.) a bomber race will be featured.
At Oxford Plains Speedway, two days of racing also are on tap. Saturday, at 7 p.m., will feature OPS’s usual Winston Racing Series card while a $20,000 open competition Pro Stock race is scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m.
At Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, a special 50-lap sportsman race is scheduled for Saturday at 7 p.m.
The NASCAR Grand National North drivers, meanwhile, trek to Jennerstown (Pa.) Speedway, a half-mile track, for a 200-lap event on Saturday.
