BELFAST — Judge Bernard C. Staples heard the following cases in 5th District Court recently.

Thomas R. Whitney, 20, and Almon R. Barylski, 23, both of Belfast, six counts of theft, four burglaries and one count of theft of a firearm. Each man pleaded guilty to the series of break-ins and received the following sentences: concurrent three-year jail terms with all but eight months suspended, two years probation and $1,000 restitution.

Mark B. Raven, 18, Thorndike, fishing without license, $80.

Jeffrey Overlock, 26, Bangor, vehicle exceeding gross weight limit, $25.

Gordon R. Stoltz Jr., 23, Belfast, unnecessary noise, $50.

Brian E. Cash, 21, Liberty, unnecessary noise, $50.

George S. Adams Corp., Frankfort, causing operation of motor vehicle with undersize tires, $270.

Brenton LaFrinea, 48, Poland Springs, registering pickup truck more than 6,000 pounds as an auto, $100.

Christopher D. Lord, 28, St. Stephan, New Brunswick, vehicle exceeding registered gross weight, $25.

Mountain Springs W.T.C., Brewer, causing operation of truck with passenger registration, $100.

Theodore Bormet, 36, Searsport, operating motor vehicle while under influence of intoxicating liquor, seven days in jail, $500, license suspended one year; operating motor vehicle after suspension of license, two days in jail.
