Bangor and Calais split a doubleheader at Garland Street Field in Bangor Wednesday in American Legion baseball action. Calais won the first game 10-1 and Bangor posted a 6-2 win the nightcap.

In the first game, Derek Feeney pitched a 4-hitter to help key the win for 1-1 Calais. Also for Calais, Paul Napoleoni singled twice.

For 1-2 Bangor, Mike Miragliuolo drove in the lone run with a sacrifice fly.

In the second game, Brent Brown pitched a 3-hitter and struck out 10 to lead Bangor to the victory.

For Bangor, Pat Masters singled twice and Joel St. Pierre had a 2-run single.

For Calais, Travis Oakes hit a double.
