Greenville students get scholarships

GREENVILLE — Several scholarships were awarded to seniors at Greenville High School during graduation exercises Sunday.

They were as follows: Travis Carpenter, Grapevine Association Award for valedictorian; Jon Lander, Grapevine Association Award for salutatorian; Erica Drexel, Grapevine Association Award in memory of Rance E. McEachern Jr.; Katina Lessard, Grapevine Association Award in memory of Dr. Fred Pritham; Darin Larabee, Paul Breton Memorial Award; Natalie Stafford, Moosehead Manufacturing Award; Katina Lessard, Anna Marie Godson Scholarship; Kathy Gagne, Mark Gartley Scholarship; and Jon Lander, Kiwanis Scholarship.

Also, William Chandler, Lakeview Women’s Club Scholarship; Sonya Nute, Dora Mae Jamieson Scholarship; Zeke Morrel, William McIver Scholarship; Timothy Doughty, American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship; Eric Smith, Octavia Gauvin Award; Christopher Richards, Toby and Maureen Baird Scholarship; Sonya Nute, Perry and Ruby Wortman Scholarship; Ron Mace, Columbia-Doric Lodge Scholarship; Christopher Richards, Michael J. McCool Memorial Scholarship; Adam Smith, New England School of Broadcasting Scholarship; Vanessa Turner, Thomas L. Lavigne and Cindy S. Burke Memorial Scholarship; Erica Drexel, Esther Pennington Scholarship; Craig Watt, Katahdin Scholarship, and Travis Carpenter, Elks Scholarship.

Shaw scholarships were awarded to the following: William Chandler, Kathy Gagne, Adam Smith, Natalie Stafford, Jon Lander, Sonya Nute, Darin Larabee and Erica Drexel.
