OWLS HEAD — The Planning Board approved two projects on Thursday night at a meeting at the town office.

Averell L. Robinson obtained approval for an 8-foot by 15-foot addition for a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for his North Shore Road home, near fire road C240.

Charles Jones obtained permission to operate a lunch wagon on airport land leased from Knox County by the Penobscot Air Service. The wagon will be operated by Marilyn Widdecomb, formerly of the Timber Hill Market. The wagon should operate by July 13, if state offices are open so that the required licenses can be obtained.

The board discussed a proposed new shoreland zone. The proposal will be presented to voters before the end of the year at a town meeting.
