CMSSL Absolute tops ISA

ORONO – Mike Jeffrey scored a goal and assisted on 2 others as the Absolute Soccer Club defeated the International Soccer Association 3-1 in Central Maine Summer Soccer action Sunday. Todd Smith and David Kelly each scored a goal for 8-1-2 Absolute. Hussain Fatel scored unassisted for 8-3-0 ISA.

Hampden edges Hardwick

HAMPDEN – Scott Davis scored from Donny Lawrence in the first half as Hampden defeated Hardwick Fence 1-0 in a Central Maine Summer Soccer League game Sunday. Goalie Matt Cohen earned his second shutout of the year for 6-2-3 Hampden. Hardwick is now 5-4-2.

Legends blanks Jasmine’s

ORONO – Jason Hill scored a pair of goals and assisted on a third while leading Legends to a 7-0 Central Maine Summer Soccer League victory over Jasmine’s here Sunday. Steve Sullivan recorded a goal and two assists, while Bill Ashby, Mark Fernald, Eric Rhoads and Jordan Clark scored one goal apiece.
