ORONO – Ed Ambrose of Orono recorded a hole-in-one on Wednesday at the Penobscot Valley Country Club here. Ambrose aced the 163-yard, sixth hole with a 3-wood. Witnesses were Zane Skalski, Herb Cowan, and Buell Rollens. Cowan recorded an ace at PVCC earlier this week.
