Husson Girls Summer playoff results

In the lone upset of the quarterfinal round of the Husson College Girls Summer Basketball League, No. 5 Central of East Corinth beat No. 4 Old Town 56-43 at Husson College in Bangor Monday. Central will play No. 1 Stearns of Millinocket, a 52-29 winner over No. Ellsworth, Wednesday at 6 p.m. Third-seeded Bangor beat No. 6 Brewer 48-42 and No. 2 Hampden eliminated No. 7 Hermon 56-24. Bangor will play Hampden at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
