The Maine State Chapter of the March of Dimes and the volunteer organizing committee will hold a Dreamdate Gala at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at the Bangor Banquet and Conference Center, Hogan Road.

The event will feature bachelor and bachelorette date packages such as glider rides, a three-day trip to Saint John and Nova Scotia, a cruise on the ferry Bluenose to Yarmouth, skiing excursions and ice-climbing lessons.
