BELFAST — Orientation for courses offered by the University of New England in the Belfast area will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, and Friday, Sept. 6, at the First Baptist Church lounge, off the garden door on High Street.

Three-credit college courses will include American government, human relations, social psychology, introduction to physics (no laboratory), introduction to management, marketing health care organizations, great books of the Western tradition, mathematics for the elementary grade, whole numbers and how they work. A course offering one college credit will be background to the Hebrew Scripture.
